We have worked at a wide variety of customer’s locations, performing tasks, which include, but are not limited to:
Evaluate existing cable plant and repair necessary areas, including toning, tagging and creating cable records. Also cross-connecting, installing faceplates, placing, testing and troubleshooting phones if necessary.

Project Specifics - Installation consisted of a completely new infrastructure including pathways and Category 5E cabling for voice, data and television locations throughout the dorms. In addition, voice and data cabling for the office and classroom areas along with fiber optic and copper feeds were installed to support voice and data from the MC to the IC’s. All cables were terminated on Category 5E patch panels. All cables were tested and documented. This was an Ortronics project that was completed on schedule.
Camden County College – Madison Hall & Madison Connector IT Project

Project Specifics - Provide and install Siemon System 6 certified solution to support high speed data applications up to and in excess of 100 mbs.
Scope of Project – Provide and install four pair Category 6 CMP cable to approximately 1,500 locations throughout Madison Hall and Madison Connector Buildings during the construction of these facilities. Install single and multi mode fiber, RG11 coax and multi pair copper feed cable from the Building MC to each of three TR locations. Construct all racks and associated grounding equipment in the building MC and TR closets. Install RG6 coax from the AV MC to approximately thirty five locations. Test all four pair cables, coax cables and fiber and copper feed cables for the appropriate standards compliance. Provide as built drawings upon project completion.
City Of New Brunswick NJ Water Treatment Facility

Project Specifics – Installation of a complete Vicon security camera system which included the installation of underground conduit along with inside conduit to facilitate the installation of the fiber cabling to each camera. This project included the installation of approximately 20 cameras along with DVR’s and ancillary equipment.
DuPont - Copper and Fiber cabling projects at the Chestnut Run and Experimental Station facility

Coastal Communications has performed several projects at these facilities. These projects ranged from upgrading their existing outside plant copper backbone, where we installed new sections of cable which involved protecting, splicing and terminating the copper cabling.
We also performed a fiber project where we installed, spliced, terminated and tested both inside, outside and aerial plant cabling.
At the Experimental Station facility we performed a total rewire of a building that included Cat-6e station cabling and upgrading the existing backbone.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) – Atlantic City Airport

Coastal has performed a variety of projects for the FAA over the past several years. Some of these projects include:
- Campus wide paging – Coastal install paging that tied approximately 40 buildings to a multi zone paging unit. In addition to this paging project we installed horns around the main facilities for emergency evacuation.
- Outside plant copper and fiber to support the new Coast Guard facility along with the voice and data cabling for the workstations.
- Outside plant fiber and copper cabling where we install 3600’ of 72-strand fiber, 800’ of 24-strand fiber, and 1200’ of copper cable. This project also included the removal of approximately 700’ of 1200pr copper cable from their existing conduit system.
- MAC work – Coastal has performed multiple tasks where we move, add or change cabling to accommodate department needs.
